The ball nut is the core component of the ball screw mechanism.
When the high load ball screw mechanism is running, the ball nut cannot bear radial load or torque load, and can only accept load along the axial direction of the high load ball screw. In addition, it is necessary to make sure that the axial load acting on the high load ball screw passes through the screw axis.
When designing, radial load and torque load can‘t’be directly applied to the nut, otherwise it will greatly shorten the life of the high load ball screw mechanism or cause poor operation, because radial load or torque load will cause the screw to bend and some balls in the nut to be overloaded, resulting in unstable transmission, reduced accuracy, and a sharp shortening of life.
